What's
a registrar?
Domain names can be registered through many different
companies known as "registrars".
The registrar you choose will ask you to provide
various contact and technical information that makes up the
registration. The registrar will then keep records of the
contact information and submit the technical information to
a central directory known as the "registry". This
registry provides other computers on the Internet the information
necessary to send you email or to find your web site.

What's
DNS server and how to use it?
The Domain Name System (DNS) helps surfers to find
their way around the Internet. Every computer on the Internet
including web servers has a unique address called its "IP
address" (IP stands for "Internet Protocol").
IP Addresses are hard to remember. The DNS makes
using the Internet easier by allowing the domain name to be
used instead of the IP address.
A
name server maintains a directory of domain names and matching IP
addresses. They use these directories to enable computers on their
networks to find web sites and other resources. It usually
takes about 48 hours before name servers on other networks are able to access the information after the
registry for your domain
gets it. This 48 hour period is referred to as propagation.
To point your domain name to the IP address of your hosting
service, go to control panel of your domain registrar, type
the DNS server data your host gave you in the DNS record field.

will happen if I use up the 30GB bandwidth quota?
We'd suggest you upgrade hosting plan if you use up your
storage or bandwidth quota. But if you feel you exceed the
quota accidently in a given month and don't really need to
upgrade, we're ok with that.
The cost for additional storage is S$2/10MB per month, and
for bandwidth, S$2.5/GB per month.
Important: Any host claiming "unlimited
bandwidth" is simply lying. There's no such thing as
"unlimited bandwidth".

The majorities of people are not going to need
a great deal of storage or bandwidth. Research shows the average
web site is only 1-2MB. It all works out in the end, the people
